The Delhi State Teachers Award 2024 is a prestigious annual recognition given to educators across Delhi for their exceptional contributions to the field of education. In 2024, the two Teachers,Dr Anubha Gopal (Economics Deptt) & Ms Niva Chhonkar (Biology Deptt) from Delhi Public School RK Puram were selected for the award.
The award ceremony for the Delhi State Teachers Award 2024 was held on September 5,2024 at the Thyagraj stadium coinciding with Teachers’ Day celebrations.The awards were presented by the Delhi Education minister Atishi and the key officials from the DoE.
The award included a Silver Medal,Shawl,certificate and Award Money of Rs 25,000.The Delhi State Teachers Award continues to grow in prominence each year, with more emphasis on recognizing teachers who contribute to building a progressive and inclusive education system. The 2024 edition has particularly highlighted the importance of adapting to modern educational challenges, such as integrating technology, promoting inclusive education, and fostering critical thinking among students.
