A series of in house workshops on Soft Board Making was organised by the Art Department of Delhi Public School, R.K Puram on 10-Sep-2024 and 18-Sep-2024 for all the teachers in the Audio Visual Hall. The aim of the workshop was to build creativity and techniques required to create attractive and beautiful bulletin boards. The workshop began with the speaker giving a demonstration which made the teachers understand that bulletin boards are powerful tools for classrooms ranging from middle to high school and beyond. They can be used to relay information to students, reinforce lessons, display students’ work and more. The speaker gave an idea on how to make the classroom more attractive and how to make an insightful board for students of different grades. Teachers understood how to combine different colours, how 3 dimensional objects / designs can be created in an easy way with creativity, making different borders, lanterns and flowers from colourful paper etc . All the teachers collectively created and modified their bulletin boards in a fun and creative manner. It was an interactive and insightful workshop.
