A team of seven delegates from classes IX, X and XI of Delhi Public School R K Puram participated in MUN organised by Queen Mary’s School, Tis Hazari. The event lasted for three days, from 8th August to 10th August, 2019. The delegates came prepared for the debate, they prepared their draft resolutions and lobbied for signatures. In the Economic and Social Council, the delegates of the school made their own Draft Resolution and got it successfully passed by the committee. The speeches given by the delegates in the remaining three committees were of astounding quality with deep research and intricate analysis. The culmination of the Felicitation Ceremony resulted in 4 out of the 7 delegates of the school winning awards, Alyssa Nagrath and Vansh Jain won special mentions in the Economic and Social Council, Medha Kakkar won a high commendation in the World Health Organization and Armaan Singh Ahluwalia won the best delegate award in the Economic and Social Council.
