During celebrations of Sanskrit Week NCERT organized various competitions at Aurobindo Marg, on 31st August and 1st September 2015.
The events include a fancy dress competition, a group song and a solo-singing competition. In the fancy dress competition, Jayeshwar of VII-A won 2nd prize (cash prize of Rs.3000) and Aditya Mittal won the 3rd prize (cash prize of Rs.2000). The choir, comprising Karan Wali and Saikiran of IX-G, Aadya Varma, Shyenika Upadhyay and Uddipta Bhattacharya of X-J and Aamir Khan of XI-E secured consolation prize and a cash prize of Rs.2000.
All participants received certificates.They were guided by Mrs. AmlaThukral, HOD Sanskrit Department and were accompanied by Mr. B.P. Pandey.
