Assembly XII-Q & XII-S (15-05-2024)

Topic: “WHERE LIFE BEGINS AND LOVE NEVER ENDS”

On Wednesday, the 15th of May 2024, the students of classes XII-S and XII-Q presented an assembly on the topic “Where life begins, and love never ends.” International family day is celebrated on the 15th May every year. International Family Day is a global celebration of the cherished bonds that unite families across cultures, promoting love, unity, and understanding. Let’s embrace this day to appreciate the invaluable support and joy our families bring to our lives.

The assembly began with a prayer titled “Achyutam Keshavam,” which was sung by a group of students from both the classes including Anchal, Rashita, Rubani, Aahana, Sanskriti, Sharanya, Gayatri, Rhea and Radhika. The prayer was followed by a classical dance performance by Rudrajit and Aditya. The thought for the day was presented by Himesh. News was read by Lakshita Jain and Jiya Jain. The western choir comprised of Sanskriti, Nevaan, Sanat, Radhika, Aarav and Anshul. A self composed poem was read by Sanskriti Sharma and a group dance was performed by Sharanya Ash, Rhea, Radhika and Aahana. The students also dressed up as different family members including mother played by Gayatri and daughter played by Lakshita. Presentation of the assembly was created by Reyansh. E-invites and Board work was coordinated and done by Anchal and Rashita. The comperes for the assembly were Sanskriti Sharma, Mannat, Sarthak and Chirag.

Winners in 1st edition of Annual Inter School ATL Fest – Zenith

“Roboknights” and “Exun” clubs under the computer department of DPS RK Puram, participated in the “1st edition of Annual Inter School ATL Fest – Zenith” organised by Delhi. Public School,Ghaziabad on 14th May 2024 and won the 2nd position in the “Robosoccer” event.

Assembly IX-A & IX-B (14-05-2024)

Topic: “THE GLORY OF MOTHERHOOD”

The school assembly on the theme “The Glory of Motherhood ” was presented on 14 May, 2024 by the enthusiastic students of Class IX A and B. The assembly aimed to celebrate mother’s day, by showing the love which is a magnificent force that transcends earthly boundaries.

The assembly began with a soulful Morning Prayer, sung by Aarush, Ashwika, Avani, Anvi, Himanshu, Vritii, Shreya, Samarth, Adhirit, Unesh, Digvijay, Rakshit, Srishti, Zohair, Shivam, Aditya, Anupam, Arsalan, Astha, Dev, Nishant, Prachi, Rishit, Ronak, Rudhr, Tanish, and Valencia, setting a serene atmosphere. The compering was efficiently handled by Catherine, Vaibhavi, Prapti, and Samanyu, who guided the audience through the various segments of the assembly. 

Prapti and Irsia mesmerized the audience with a captivating rendition of the Saraswati Vandana, adding a devotional touch to the assembly. The latest news updates were presented by Yuvaan,Lakshya,Garv, Samridh keeping everyone informed about current events. Anvi, Vritii, Ayaan, Srishti, Aaliya, Shivya shared insightful and thought-provoking “Thoughts for the day”,  inspiring the audience with their wisdom and positivity.

Samanyu and Shreyash recited a beautiful Shloka, showcasing the bond between a mother and her child is considered one of the strongest and most enduring relationships in human experience. Avya presented a heartfelt poem composed by Srishti, focusing on mother’s love that warms our hearts. The stage came alive with a captivating Western choir performance by Anvi, Avani(keyboard), Vritii, Srishti, Hardik, Adhrit, Samarth, Zoravar, Astha, Mehr, Mayra, Prachi, Ritika, Risha, Sachin, Tanish, and Valencia.

A short instrumental presentation was enacted by Samanyu, Anabh(Keyboard), Devyansh(Flute), Valencia(Violin), which showcased the journey of a mother. The performance left the audience entertained and enlightened. To add a dash of vibrant energy, a group dance was performed by Seona, Avani, Shreya, Amisha, Astha, Ritika, Saamya, and Tejaswini. Their synchronized moves and expressive choreography capture the lively spirit of Motherhood. Ashwika, Sayyam, Shreya, Amisha, Kritika, Mehr, Prapti, Swagatika, Shivya, Prachi, Irsia, Tejaswini showcased their artistic skills through beautifully crafted cards and folders, adding visual appeal to the assembly. The board decorations, meticulously designed to reflect the mother’s day theme, were the work Of Seona, Shreya, Lakshya, Yuvaan, Twisha, Unesh, Praaket, and Risha.

The Google Slides presentation, highlighting interesting facts and images related to the journey of motherhood , was skillfully prepared by Ashwika, Khushal, Jai, Sachin, Samanyu providing visual aids to enhance the audience’s understanding and engagement. The assembly concluded with a round of applause, as the efforts and talents of all the participants were recognized and appreciated. The entire assembly was a testimony to the vibrant spirit, creativity, and teamwork of the students of Class IX A and B, who successfully conveyed the love and significance of the mothers in our lives through their performances.

Assembly X-K & X-L (09-05-2024)

TOPIC: “EDUCATION IS NOT FILLING OF A PAIL BUT  LIGHTING OF A FIRE. ‘RABINDRANATH TAGORE-CELEBRATION OF TAGORE’S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY”

On the 9th of May 2024 ,the students of 10K and 10L presented an assembly celebrating the birth anniversary of Tagore honouring his life and teachings. The prolific Indian poet, progressive thinker and Noble laureate, had a profound impact on education and through his writings expressed the interconnectedness of all life forms. The students expressed this through a skit, dance, song, speech, poem and his ideas implemented through NEP2020.

The assembly commenced with the prayer ‘More love, more power” by Hriday, Lakshay, Madhav, Yasir, Shreya, Ritwik Thakur, Ridit, Kashika, Aarav Ahluwalia, Elina, Kartik, Dhruv Garv, Aarna, Ahaan, Aliya, Anaisha, Harnoor, Rudrankshi, Sanchit, Siya, Vadini, Amaira Arora, Amaira Jain, Naisha, Raeka, Rhea and Medha.

The comperes Aryaman and Rayna introduced the theme to the audience. This was followed by a dance in reverence to Lord Ganesha by Riddhi and Siddhi and a speech by Aliza and Ishani, followed by a self composed poem by Kavnoor on Rabindranath Tagore.

The skit which reflected the life and teachings of Tagore was done by Pranavi, Akshita, Nawfal, Reet, Navika, Dhruv, Aditya, Anya, Aradhya Chawla, Gauransh, Jai, Pranam, Riddhiman, Tavishi and Viresh. The script was written by Kavin, Diya, Siya, Akshita, Pranavi, Nawfal. The skit also had the news read by Vivaan, Viresh, Aaradhya Gupta and Sachit. Thoughts for the day were read by Apurna, Tamira, Kashvi and Arshia. The poem ‘Where the mind is without Fear’ was recited by Ose.

The song ‘Ekla Cholo’ was sung by Kavnoor, Damanpreet, Aarav Gupta, Aarav Devrani, Ritwik Gupta, Elina, Aarna, Anaisha, Harnoor, Rudrankshi, Siya, Vadini, Amaira Arora, Amaira Jain and Naisha. The dance appreciating the colours of spring ‘Phagun…’ was performed by Riddhi, Siddhi, Amrisha, Aadya, Anushree, Diya and Yashvi. The violin was played by Myra and the Tabla was played by Medha. The digital presentation was made by Atharv, Vihaan, Madhav, Ayon, Chaitanya and Tavish.

Softboard was made by Amaira Arora, Amaira Jain, Rhea, Aaradhya Gupta, Harnoor and Apurna. E invite was made by Madhav and Cards were made by Aliza. The folders were made by Anaisha, Diya and Naisha.

Assembly VIII-A & VIII-B (08-05-2024)

Topic: MOTHERS- A WALKING MIRACLE

The assembly of Class VIII-A and VIII-B themed “MOTHER: A walking miracle” aimed to showcase the unconditional love, support and sacrifice made by mothers and mother figures in our society.

The Assembly began on a positive note with the morning prayer sung by Anuj, Atharv Garg , Deepak  Kumar, Dharmansoi, Disha , Hitesh, Khanak, Manav, Pragati Mishra, Ritesh Gautam, Sidharth kumar Gandhi, Sushanto Das, Vanshika Shukla, Viaan Ambavata, Niharika Singh, Mahi, Abhigyan Singh, Samar, Aanya Singh, Vibha  Tiwari, Prisha  Parimeita , Viyan, Navneet , Parth Mehta , Rayal Gangwal, Sumit Kumar, Yogesh Gadal. Pankhuri Garg and Ranganath Sriram complemented the prayer by playing harmonium and violin respectively. A religious and classical dance on Ganesh Vandana was performed by Shreya Aggarwal and Anvesha Vadodaria. Thought for the day was by Arjun Chadha, Swastik Sharma, Tanishka Kansara, Shaurya Sahay, Yug Choudhary.

News & current affairs was read by Abhir Baluja, Siddhi Pathak, Abhinav Kumar and Kushagra Singh.

Self-composed poem was recited by Kripa Mehta, Raghav Dubey conveying the message of gratitude and regard.

A skit was performed by Apurva Vikram Singh, Jeenesh Vasandani, Raikishori Roy, Satvik Fernandes, Shreeyati, Raghav Baisoya, Rajveer Singh Baisoya, Aniket, Kushagra Jha. This was followed by a powerful & soulful western dance performance by Mahek, Megha, Taniya Kumari, Zoya Fatima Khan, Diksha Manchanda, Lakshita, Pratyusha Giri.

The colorful presentation was created by- Adyan Siddiqui, Archit Singh Sengar, Kian Verma. The compering was done by kanav lall and karthik makireddy, Suryansh Chadha, M Bhargav Krishna, Ansh Aggarwal. The beautiful soft board, and the cards were done by the art team comprising of Shriya Mishra, Sakshi Mittal, Astha Agarwal, Pihu Kumar, Mahima Yadav.

Assembly XII-H & XII-I (01-05-2024)

Topic: “JAB CHAI MET TOAST”

“Jab chai met toast, fir duniya became colorful.” Taking inspiration from the homely essence of dipping a rusk in tea, the students of classes XII-H and XII-I put up an entrancing show on the 1st of May, 2024, and reminded all those present of the virtues of simplicity, and most importantly, the unornamented and pure joy of having fun with loved ones- without the looming shadow of technology, or the stresses of everyday life.

The assembly kicked off with a spiritual morning prayer, lead by the principal, followed by an interlude, which was accented by crafty animations, prepared by Atharv. The comperes, Kartavya, Ayaan and Arshia, introduced a soulful and mesmerizing vandana, by Leiasha, Punyakriti and Aanandita, and the momentum of the assembly reached new heights, when an enthralling skit starring Kartavya, Shaurya Dubey, Ishan Prakash, Hardik, Shresth, Shiven, Manya, Aarush, Prakhar, Leiasha, Chaitanya and Jhanavi, conveyed the emotion behind the assembly- the homely connection we have with our surroundings and those whom we cherish. The skit directly transitioned into a well-planned news segment, by Rehaan, Harshit Joshi, Harshit and Vrihad. A skillful instrumental solo by Dev set the mood perfectly for a self composed poem performance, by Siddharth and Aryaa, which perfectly encapsulated the familiar nostalgia of a countryside retreat.

Next up was a western dance performance by Adya, Siddhi, Leiasha, Arshia, Manya, Jhanavi, Hardik, Pratyush Rounaq, Aanandita, Tisya and Jincy who danced on the famous song “Kohl do par”. Subsequently, the Hindi Choir performed by Arika, Minakshi, Advay, Ishaan K, Ananta, Aryaa, Aarush, Edha, Advait, Dev, Gyan, Rahil, Harshit, Arjun and Vivaan , was quite literally music to our ears. A thought for the day presented by Yash, enriched the minds of the viewers, giving them something to think about, and was followed by a self composed poem performance by Ananta and Shrikirti, this time in a language closer to home- Hindi. As the assembly drew closer to a momentous end, the western choir sang a melodious harmony to give it exactly what it needed- a cherry on top.

The assembly board was prepared by Edha, Stanzin, Tisya, Jincy, Surya, Snigdha, Minakshi, Harshit, Naina, the Cards, Folders and Presentation were created by Adya, Siddhi, Pratyush, Aarush, Ananta, Atharv and Abhyudai.
