VISIT TO PRADHANMANTRI SANGRAHALAYA

The school had organized an educational tour to  Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya for Class VIII students from 13th to 16th February 2024. With the permission and guidance of the  Principal, Ms. Padma Srinivasan, it was facilitated by the Headmistress, Ms. Anubha Gopal.

The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a tribute to every Prime Minister of India since Independence, and a narrative record of how each one has contributed to the development of our nation over the last 75 years. The excursion was quite enriching as the museum tells the story of the legacy of Indian Prime Ministers and the history of collective effort, and powerful evidence of the creative success of India’s democracy. The exhibitions were extremely helpful for the students to learn about the history of our country through its Prime Ministers. The entrance was adorned with a 3D printed National Emblem rotating in the air. Adding to the appeal was  an artistic mobile installation of multiple kinetic LED lights forming a dynamic pattern of the National Flag representing freedom, progress and growth of the nation . Overall the field trip was an enriching experience that left an indelible impression on the minds of the  students , inspiring them to dedicate themselves to the mission of taking our country to greater horizons. The tour was a great learning experience for the students.

Body Tapping and Meditation  BY- Ms. Vishu (In House)

19.02.2024

“We can’t always change what’s happening around us, but we can change what happens within us.” -Andy

Ms. Vishu conducted a workshop on 19 Feb 2024 on Body Tapping and Meditation. She initiated the session with simple stretching and light exercises. Thereafter, she introduced us to the technique of ‘Body Tapping’. Tapping is a type of acupressure that operates on the many meridians, each of which has very particular locations on the  body, to ensure the proper energy flow and bring the body into balance. The session helped the teachers in clearing obstacles that prevent the body’s stagnated energy from moving freely, which can improve mental clarity and emotional balance. The session ended with a guided meditation session which helped our teachers feel fresh and focused for the rest of the day.
