The class presentation commenced with an energetic greeting by Pratyush Juyal followed by a prayer sung by Abhilasha Acharya.The thought for the day was presented by Anya Gupta and a self composed poem was recited by Dhruv Mittal.Pranav Neil Srivastava spoke about  National Sports day and Aashna Suman proudly presented the achievements of Indian sportspersons in Tokyo Olympics.A tabla recital by Raghav Dhoundiyal was followed by the vote of thanks by Aashna Suman.

The e-invite was prepared by Shivangi and Vijayalakshmi, the presentation was prepared by Utsav Chandra Yadav, while the audio was edited and compiled by Gatik Sharma.

Topic- Janmashtami

Janmashtami is a Hindu festival celebrated every year to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna. On this occasion, the students of class XII J eloquently highlighted the important values and lessons we can learn from Lord Krishna’s life through their class presentation.

The presentation began with a melodious self composed song by Akshit Upadhyay followed by an introduction by Varin Kala. Following that, Akshit Upadhyay recited an inspiring shloka, which was translated by Tushar Bhatt. Swasti Nitya then performed a melodious prayer song. Utkarsh Byahut and Gauri Mishra spoke about Lord Krishna’s principles and values in their speeches. Ayush Sinha recited a beautiful self composed poem, ‘The Cliffs’. Sahil Agrawal shared the thought for the day, highlighting the essence of the festival, towards the end of the presentation. The presentation concluded with a vote of thanks by Arunee Agrawal. An instrumental performed by Utkarsh Byahut was used to soundtrack the entire presentation.

The e-invitation cards and slides were prepared by Ananya Rohatgi and Alia Fatima. The audio compilation and editing were done by Somesh Kar.

संस्कृत दिवस के शुभ-अवसर पर कक्षा नवमी-जे के छात्र-छात्राओं ने कक्षा- प्रस्तुति तैयार की | श्रावण मास की पूर्णिमा को रक्षाबंधन के त्यौहार के साथ ही संस्कृत दिवस भी मनाया जाता है। कक्षा-प्रस्तुतिकरण का विषय था – “संस्कृतम् … देवानां भाषा” (Sanskrit … The language of The Gods) |

प्रस्तुतिकरण का शुभारंभ आर्यमन गोस्वामी द्वारा संस्कृत भाषा में गायी गई सरस्वती वंदना से हुआ | तत्पश्चात इधा बालाजी एवं सृष्टि पाठक द्वारा संस्कृत भाषा की विशेषताओं पर आधारित एक संस्कृत श्लोक हिंदी तथा अंग्रेज़ी अर्थ के साथ प्रस्तुत किया गया | दीवित सिंह ने सभी भाषाओं में से संस्कृत भाषा की सरलता एवं सुंदरता एक सुविचार के माध्यम से बताई | चैतन्य जांगड़ा ने संस्कृत दिवस के उद्भव एवं उद्देश्य से सभी को परिचित करवाया | अंत में आर्या दुबे ने अपनी स्वरचित कविता के माध्यम से संस्कृत के वैभव का वर्णन करते हुए वर्तमान समय में उसकी स्थिति एवं आवश्यकता दोनों ही समझाए | अच्छे मंच-संचालकों के बिना कार्यक्रम का सुचारु रूप से चल पाना कठिन होता है | इस प्रस्तुति के मंच संचालकों के रूप में – मान्या गोयल, सिद्धांत सिंघल, एस. श्रीकीर्ति, अभिमन्यु शेट्टी, रुबानी कौर, यश्वी गुप्ता एवं वैभव रंजन ने अपनी भूमिका बखूबी निभाई | कक्षा प्रस्तुतिकरण का समापन आदरणीया प्रधानाचार्या सुश्री पद्मा श्रीनिवासन, आदरणीया मुख्याध्यापिका श्रीमती रश्मि मल्होत्रा, कक्षा नवमी के कक्षा-प्रतिनिधि तथा असेंबली प्रभारी के प्रति धन्यवाद ज्ञापन से हुआ |

Topic – ‘Siblings –  A gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life’

The auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan celebrates the sacred bond between siblings. We often undervalue siblings, even though they play a very important role in our  lives.We may have fights and petty squabbles with them, but they are the ones who we can always count on, no matter what. Siblings are built – in best friends.

The presentation opened with a moving Sanskrit shloka by Prakriti Panwar while Suhani Bansal delivered the opening slogan followed by a beautiful prayer by Meher Kapur. Raaina Suryawanshi and Abhinav Neelakantan delivered the thought for the day. Moving on, SP Thanusree, Ruheen Moti, Alma Ali, Siya Chhabra, Gautam Phoggat, Suhaani Bhandari, Nimisha Dhawan and Arshiya Sangar talked about the role their siblings play for them in their lives, laced with humorous anecdotes about the petty skirmishes they have had with them. Also, Meher Kapur and Prakriti Panwar presented a moving song titled ‘Count on Me’. The presentation was closed by Shashank Sinha who delivered the vote of thanks. The invitations for the presentation were created by Alma Ali and Ruheen Moti while the slides and other technical support were provided by Abhinav Neelakantan, Adya Sati, Nimisha Dhawan and Alma Ali.

Topic: Parsi New Year

Parsi New Year is that time of the year when one may seek the blessings of the Almighty while immersing in his galore.  Recognizing the value of the occasion, the students of Class VIII B presented their class presentation on ‘Happy Navroz’. 

It began on a positive note as Garima Chauhan recited the Sanskrit Shloka- ‘Om sarveshaam swastir bhavatu’.  The compering was done by Sabyasachi.  ‘Ye mat kaho khuda se’, the morning prayer was sung by Nivida Gupta. The story was narrated by Nikita Bhardwaj.  Keeping the spirit of blessings and gratitude for new beginnings alive, the thoughts were shared by Faguni Sharma and Aanandi Tandon.  This was followed by poems which were recited by Jasnoor Kaur Marwah and Nikita Bhardwaj.  The presentation concluded with a vote of thanks by Vritti Khandelwal.  The e-invite was prepared by the Class Teacher, Ms. Divya Kapoor.

Topic -Parsi New Year

The Parsi New Year is a joyous festival, signifying the first day of the month of the Fasli calendar. Celebrating this auspicious occasion and showing our gratitude to the opportunity of starting over with a clean slate as the new year begins, the students of XII E prepared their class presentation on the Parsi New Year.

The class presentation began with a shloka recited by Lakshay Makhija conveying the hope that may everyone be happy and free from all ailments. Following this was a melodious recitation of the prayer, “Itni Shakti Hame Dena Data” by Kaustubh Rajwar. Two speeches were given by Pranay Sharma and Prapti Bhardwaj. Following this, a self composed poem was recited by Naman Rustagi. It went ahead with thoughts for the day by Harshini Sinha and Tanisha Gupta. A beautiful performance of the song “Here Comes The Sun ” was given by Arjun Kulshrestha and Asmit Rajeet Datta. The assembly comperes, Ashmit Nangia and Rahul Bhargava, introduced the lovely flute solo of Lakshay Makhija which concluded the assembly, following which was a vote of thanks. The invite was prepared by Kavya Agrawal and the presentation was made by Advitya Singhal, who along with Pranay Sharma handled overall coordination and, Aaditya Kakkar did the audio editing and compilation.

The presentation commenced with a cheerful greeting by Aryan Singh, followed by the welcome by Adya Jain & Sripriya Singh .The presentation highlighted the centre of onam celebration – virtues of goodness and kindness . Goodness has its own rewards.We must be inspired and strive to nurture these important virtues in ourselves which will lead us towards creating a peaceful and prosperous world.The presentation began with  the prayer song by Adya Jain  which was then was followed by recitation of  Shlok & its translation by Falak Gupta & Kaashvi Goel. A Brief highlight of the Onam celebration was given by Ahana Saxena, Saiaansh Bakshi & Yashasvi by their speeches . Next was a self composed poem by N.Tarun.The vote of thanks was by the compere Aryan Singh,Adya Jain & Sripriya Singh. The e-invite and presentation was prepared by Sripriya Singh, while the audio was edited and compiled by Krish Shah.

Topic – “Jashna–e–Aazadi “

“Our flag doesn’t fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of every fallen soldier who protected it.”

The class XI-O presented an enthralling presentation exhibiting their immense love for the country. The presentation commenced with a soothing shloka recited by Kashvi Sethi followed by a euphonious gurbani sung by Sanjam , Ranveer and Kunwar . The students enlightened all with their positive thoughts and a short poem by Rohita Bhatia invoked patriotism in everyone’s hearts . Ranbir , Saksham and Sanjam shared their views on how to be loyal to our motherland . In the end Naisha Wadhwa , Kashvi and Anika sung a melodious song for all those soldiers who sacrificed their precious lives to save ours. The comperes Hamsini Dewan and Angel Rose helped the performers sail through this mesmerizing presentation.The technical aspects, slides and e-invites were handled by Sana Chawla and Manya Agrawal.

आओ झुक कर सलाम करे उनको, जिनके हिस्से मे ये मुकाम आता है। खुशनसीब होता है वो खून, जो देश के काम आता है। देश के शहीदो को नमन।

   नमस्ते सदा वत्सले मातृभूमे त्वया हिन्दुभूमे सुखं वर्धितोहम्।

     महामङ्गले पुण्यभूमे त्वदर्थे पतत्वेष कायो नमस्ते नमस्ते।।

With this Sanskrit Shloka  recited by Vivek the students of VII- D presented their thoughts about the Independence Day. The virtual  presentation commenced with Aiesha Arora and  Devashish Bindal welcoming the audience followed by a beautiful prayer by Kshirja Rastogi . Hriday Poddar, Adyan Yoosuf and Krishiv Gaur presented inspiring  thoughts in English, Hindi and French .It was followed by a beautiful recitation, a self composed poem by Divyaansh Yadav stating  the importance of  independence .After this  Rishav Mukherjee presented his views on the history of the Independence Day celebrations.The presentation  concluded with a soulful rendition of ‘Sare jahan se achcha..’  by Suhani Sinha. The vote of thanks was delivered by Sanjana Kehair. The creative invite was designed by Mehana Agnihotri and the power point presentation was created by Sanjana Kehair.

Title- FREEDOM MINE AND FREEDOM THINE,    IN THE DARKNESS LET INDIA SHINE

On the 15th of August , 2021 , India celebrates 74 years of freedom from colonial rule. Commemorating this momentous occasion , Class X C made a presentation displaying India’s grand reclamation of its sovereignty . Shivansh Banerjee sang a soulful prayer, calling upon  for a union with the divine. Hari Om Krishna recited a Sanskrit shloka . Chinmaya Sharma delivered a speech on the history of the freedom struggle coupled with an illuminating thought .  A self composed poem was recited by Rabia Wali which magnificently described the plight of the nation in shackles .Suhanee Chugh shared some very intriguing facts on Indian Independence.  Yuvraj Singh and Shubhang Mani Tripathi sang melodious verses offering homage to the divine. The vote of thanks was delivered by Vinayak Gaur. The comperes were Shauryaa Goyal, Shreya Sahijwani , Daksh Vijay Sarkar and Gurbani Kaur . The compilation of the audio was done by Daksh Vijay Sarkar.  The invitations and the backgrounds were developed by Krishal Sharma and Arjun Banka.

Topic-PERSEVERANCE – The Characteristic of a Hero 

Perseverance is not an inherent personality trait, but it is a deliberate choice one makes to overcome obstacles that come our way . To persevere is to continuously strive to attain one’s goals. We all have heard examples of people like Walt Disney and J K Rowling who persisted through failure and achieved astounding success . That is the power of perseverance.

The class presentation began with a thought-provoking Sanskrit shloka  recited and elucidated by Aditi Srivastav. Followed by a welcome speech by Samaira Sapra  who also  recited a melodious rendition of “”O Palan Haare ” as the morning prayer. After this thought for the day was shared by Garv Agarwal, Bhargava Satya Himank and Vaishnavi Rukhaiyar . Then a delightful poem by Chinmay Sharma followed by a Hindi speech by Kartik Pande. The melodious song was sung by Anushree Sudehely and Sargam Sharma. An Independence Day speech by Diya Singh followed by vote of Thanks by Tanmay Kumar. The beautiful invites and Powerpoint presentations were made by Keshav Agarwal . The assembly would not have been possible without the technical assistance of Thakur Uday who compiled the whole presentation.
