On behalf of the management and principal, we thank all the students, parents, teachers, support staff and alumni for their presence, support and contribution on the august presence of Her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India, on the occasion of the 40 Years of Excellence in Education Celebration.

In continuation of this celebration, Delhi Public school, R.K.Puram and its two junior schools at Vasant Vihar and East of Kailash will be off for students, teachers, administrative staff and support staff on Thursday, 19th April 2012.

It is intimated that D.P.S. R.K. Puram, Vasant Vihar and East of Kailash will remain closed on Tuesday, the 17th April 2012 and Wednesday, the 18th April 2012, for the students, in view of the forthcoming “40” years of Excellence in Education Celebrations and visit of Her Excellency, Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India, to D.P.S. R.K. Puram on Wednesday, the 18th April 2012.

The administrative and support staff will attend school according to the usual timings, and will stay as per the requirement of their respective duties for the function. The academic staff will report by 12 noon, unless they are required at an earlier time. The students participating in the programme will attend school as per the timings conveyed to them by their respective heads. The school buses will not ply on 17th & 18th April 2012 respectively.

All concerned staff members & students may kindly note accordingly.

Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram, Vasant Vihar & East of Kailash will remain closed on Thursday, the 5th April 2012 and Friday, the 6th April 2012 on account of “Mahavir Jayanti” and “Good Friday” respectively.

The new academic session will commence from Wednesday, 11th April 2012 for the Internal Students of class XI.

The new academic session will commence from Monday, 2nd April 2012 for classes VII to X and XII. The new session for class VI will commence on Tuesday, 3rd April 2012 for sections A to F and Wednesday, 4th April 2012 for sections G to K. (NEW SUMMER TIMING: 06:50 AM to 01:40 PM)

There will be a staff meeting on Friday, 30th March, 2012 at 08:30 am in AVH. The meeting will start by the address of principal followed by a session on “Future Classrooms of DPS RKPuram“.

I am very happy to inform you that we are conducting “Special Revision Classes” this year from 21-Feb-2012 to 24-Feb-2012 for all of you. It is a golden opportunity for all of you to attend these classes and take blessings of BEST TEACHERS of DPS RKPuram. These classes are FREE of charge and the students can avail bus facility for the same. I wish all the very best to all of you for the forthcoming board exams. INSTRUCTIONS

1. It is compulsory for each student to pass in theory and practical separately.
2. Students appearing in the practical exam will report in proper sports kit and bring their ‘Project file’. All students will ensure that they themselves will be responsible for the result.  The students must verify their roll numbers before a competent authority and get a certificate of verification with his/ her signature.
3. The students must report at sports complex at the above said schedule. They are required to be present till the stipulated time.  They are also advised to bring their packed lunch as there will be lunch break.  If any student has any problem, can discuss with concerned Mrs Madhu Chadha/ HOD Sports/ Vice Principal
4. Class Teachers/ Reps are requested to kindly ensure that concerned students must appear in practical exam accordingly.
