Date: 29 September to 1 October 2012
Venue: DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, R K PURAM, NEW DELHI
Rules & Regulation: The meet will be organized as per the FINA Rules.
Competition: The competition shall be held in six categories i.e. Under -19 (Boys and Girls born on or after 01-01-1994 Classes up to XII), Under – 17 (Boys & Girls born on or after 01-01-1996 Classes up to X), Under – 14 (Boys & Girls born on or after 01-01-1999 Classes up to VIII).
Points: Points will be awarded for the first six positions i.e. 9,7,5,3,2,1. For relay events the points awarded will be doubled.
Null & Void: The Organizing Committee has the right to cancel any event if there are less than three participants. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the date and time of any event, if necessary.
Limitation: 2 participants will be allowed in an event from a school. One swimmer can take part in maximum 3 events excluding individual medley and relays. For the best swimmer award : 3 events + Individual Medley will be taken into consideration.
Last Date of Entry: The list of the names of swimmers duly filled in and signed by the Head of the institution in the enclosed form should reach DPS R K Puram by Friday, 21st September, 2012 (or earlier if possible). No change in entry will be permitted thereafter.
Entry Fee: Each participating school will contribute Rs. 1000/- as entry fee for each category, i.e. Boys (Under 19, Under 17, Under 14) & Girls (Under 19, Under 17, Under 14). They also have to pay Rs. 150/- per head per day for players as well as escorts, as mess and boarding charges.
March Past: There will be a March Past for all the participating schools both for boys and girls on the day of the inauguration as well as on the closing ceremony of the meet. Participating teams have to bring two flags, one for hoisting and the other for oath taking.
Meeting: There will be a Manager’s meeting on Saturday, 28th Sep. 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Principal’s office. The teams are expected to reach by 5.00 pm on 28th Sep. 2012.
Protest: Protest if any, will be lodged with the organizing secretary in writing within 30minutes after the event is completed. No protest will be entertained against the decision of the referee. The decision of the jury of appeal shall be final and binding to all.

The Protest fee of Rs.500/-(rupees five hundred only) shall be returned if the protest is upheld.

Hygiene: Every competitor shall use the lavatory and shower before entering the Swimming Pool. A competitor who is suffering from any infection of the ear, nose, throat, eyes etc. any other communicable disease will not be allowed to enter the swimming pool.
Clothing: All competitors are requested to wear swimming costumes prescribed by the FINA.
Important Instructions:

1 Participating teams must intimate in advance the date and time of their arrival.

2 The escorts of the participating teams must deposit mess charges, entry fee (if not sent) and the school flags at the school office on arrival.

3 All timings pertaining to events and daily routine during the meet must be strictly observed by all teams.

4 The teams residing in the Hostel will retire to their respective rooms latest by 9:30 pm. Any transgression of this will be the direct responsibility of the escorts.

5 Any indiscipline on the part of any team members will lead to its disqualification from the meet and the team may be asked to leave immediately.

6 Please bring a group photograph of the entire swimming team with the Principal/Headmaster, Coach and Manager, duly attested by Head of the institution.

7 List of participants with Name, Class and Date of Birth, attested by the Head of the institution must be sent along with the Entry Form.

8 Each participant and escort must bring his/her Identity Card duly attested by the head of the institution. It will be mandatory to carry Identity Card at all times during the meet.

9 All teams must be in their school uniform during all ceremonies.

10 Teams should report at least 30 min before the scheduled time.

11 The school will not be responsible for any loss, mishap, illness or accident, which occurs during the championship, nevertheless all the adequate safety measures will be taken.
