Approximately 30 students of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram travelled to Karkardooma in East Delhi where they were given a tour of the Amar Jyoti Inclusive Education School. There were impressive facilities for the differently abled such as a computer lab with specialized devices for visually impaired students and a facility to build customized prosthetic limbs for those who require them. There were classes for various vocational skills, such as beauty, pottery, bakery, weaving, jewellery making, computer courses and many more. Students had the chance to interact with the teachers of the Trust who shed light on the concept of inclusive education. They also interacted with the differently-abled students who shared their background stories and their ambitions for the future.

The visit ended with a friendly basketball match wherein one of the visiting student sat on a wheelchair to play the match on equal footing with the students of the Trust. Later, a dance performance on a patriotic song was presented by the students of Amar Jyoti, the main highlight of which was that the normal and the differently abled performed together on stage.
