Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at DPS R.K.Puram. A fun-filled cultural programme was arranged by the students consisting of a medley of all old songs – the all time favourites and the modern popular tunes; and a variety of dances. A ‘nukkad natak’ on the teacher’s relationship with students and an innovative mime act were some of the presentations.
The Principal, Dr.D.R.Saini addressed the staff and students and expressed his views about the importance of teachers in the lives of students and the crucial role they play.
The school appointees took over the running of the school for a day and acted as substitute teachers in the classroom. It was a day when the whole school paid tribute to its teachers and faculty members.
