Orientation Programme for the Parents of Students of Class X

An Orientation Programme was held for the parents of students of Class X on 6 April, 2018 from 2:15 PM to 4.00 PM. Sessions took place in the classrooms allotted to the respective sections of Class X, so that the parents can acquaint themselves with the environment their child is in. It was a feeling of back to school again for the parents. The afternoon was very productive for the parents and the teachers, who had a chance to interact with each other.  Class teachers briefed out the Code of Conduct and Examination Scheme for Class X as the students will be facing Board Examinations.

The Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal, warmly welcomed the parents and assured them of the school’s commitment in ensuring their child’s growth and development. The Vice Principal, Ms. Anita Singh, also addressed the parents. She spoke about the school rules and the new assessment scheme in detail, to ensure that the parents are suitably informed. Ms. Shaloo Khanna and Ms. Vinita Gupta, the Class Representatives, also introduced themselves to the parents. All class teachers and subject teachers of the various sections, spoke in detail about the prescribed textbooks, notebooks, the syllabi and the new assessment pattern.

The goal of the Orientation Programme was to ensure that the parents are at ease with the new examination scheme and any query related to any subject could be sorted out. A warm interaction between the parents and the teachers ensured the same.
