You are requested to come to DPS R. K. Puram, Sector XII with your ward for his/her medical check-up. Kindly bring the following papers / documents to complete the admission formalities for Pre-School for the session 2017 – 2018
A Pay Order / Banker’s Cheque of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) in favour of the respective Junior School i.e. Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar / Delhi Public School, East of Kailash payable at New Delhi. This amount will be adjusted against the fee for the academic session 2017 – 2018. The balance amount will be paid in equal instalments. Details will be mentioned in the fee bill which will be issued in due course of time.
Two passport size photographs each of the child, the father and the mother.
Original Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation.
Proof of residence as listed on the school website. Originals have to be shown for final verification.
In case of Sibling, the fee bill issued by the school office for the academic session 2016 – 17.
In case of Alumni, a copy of the passing certificate of X / XII issued by CBSE.

● In case an applicant submits his/her application in General as well as EWS/DG Category and gets selected in General Category, FULL FEE will be charged.
● Minimum Age: As per the minimum age mentioned in the table above.

4 A. Essential Documents Required – General Category
The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original at the time of verification along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies listed below as and when required by the school. However, the same are not required at the time of online registration.

4 B. Essential Documents Required – EWS / DG Category

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL CATEGORIES:
● ADMISSION IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION OF THE DOCUMENTS LISTED ABOVE.
● PARENTS WILL SUBMIT A LETTER OF UNDERTAKING, WHICH WILL CLEARLY CERTIFY THAT THE INFORMATION GIVEN IS CORRECT & THE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED ARE TRUE COPIES OF THE ORIGINAL. THIS WILL BE SELF ATTESTED BY BOTH THE PARENTS IN FRONT OF THE VERIFICATION TEAM.
● THE PARENTS OF THE APPLICANT WILL ALSO GIVE AN UNDERTAKING OF ACCEPTANCE THAT THEY WILL CONSIDER THE DECISION OF THE SCHOOL FOR CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION AS FINAL & BINDING IF AT ANY GIVEN TIME & POINT, THE INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED ARE FOUND TO BE WRONG / FAKE / UNTRUE.
5 A. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:
At first instance, the names of ‘SHORT-LISTED’ applicants who have higher value points / points above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants will be put up.The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ will also be put up, if required. (This refers to applicants with the same value points in a tie for the remaining seats).
● Criteria for Twins: In case of twins, if one is selected, the other twin will get sibling points. In a situation of draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit; so that together both are either selected or not considered for admission.
|ii||The details and schedule of ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school website. The draw will be held using a random method with complete transparency.|
The verification process of the documents will be held in the Junior School as and when intimated for those applicants, whose points are within the zone of consideration.
Please note, both the parents have to be present to submit self-attested copies of the above listed documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of the verification team.
|iv||FIRST LIST – The First List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN & WAIT LISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up of the Enrolment Form, submission of true copies, verification of original certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit.|
|v||SECOND LIST – After assessing the vacancies, the Second List (if any) of the PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared as per schedule. Please note, wait listed children under GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up as per their position. In case of any further vacancies the 3rd, 4th, 5th lists will be declared.|
5 B. Steps involved in the Admission Process for EWS / DG CATEGORY:
After verification of the documents submitted by the applicants, at first instance Area A applicants will be considered for admission. If the number of applicants in Area A is more than the available number of seats, then a draw of lots will be conducted for Area A on the assigned date and venue, which will be displayed outside on the school notice boards and the same will be available on the school website. The draw will be held in full public view (under electronic surveillance / video recording) in the presence of the DOE Observer. If seats remain vacant after allotment to Area A applicants, all applicants who reside in Area B will be eligible for the draw of lots and later for Area C or D as the case may be and so on. List of the wait listed applicants will also be declared.
