The following students from our esteemed institution won top positions in International Informatics Olympiad (IIO) competing their counterparts from India and Abroad in this Olympiad. The school also got Performance Excellence Award for outstanding overall performance of students participated from our school in Silverzone Olympiads in 2015-2016.

DPS R.K. Puram was visited by the Deans and Directors of Admissions of 14 US universities on Monday, 9th February, 2015. This visit, which was primarily to meet the Principal, Dr. D.R. Saini, and the Education Counsellor, Ms. Mamta Sharma, was organized by Ms. Brandy Fransen, the Director of Operations, the LINDEN group.

The delegates arrived at 11.30 am, and after introducing themselves, gave a brief on their respective institutions. The universities that were represented were : Arizona State University, Hampshire West Virginia University, Loyola Marymount University, John Carrol University, Hampshire College, Embry – Riddle, Foothill and De Anza College, University of Piltsburg, University of San Francisco, University of Missouri – Kansas City, SUNY Buffalo, Richmond
University in London and New Jersey’s Science & Technology University.

The Principal, Dr. D.R. Saini, also presented the school’s achievements with the delegation, and the education system it pursued, along with its track record in academics and international admissions it had secured across the world. Ms. Sharma also briefly spoke about the admissions procedure and the unmatched results it had secured in international placements.

The information that was shared was both informative and constructive, and valued by all those present at the meeting.


Representatives of 15 US universities visited DPS R K Puram on Monday, 2nd February, 2015 at 7:30 a.m.   Their mission was to share details of their respective institutions with the students of Class 11, and also discuss the unique features, admission criteria and requirements of each university, the group was led by       Mr. Ganesh Kohli, Director and Founder of KIC Univ. Assist, who also spoke about the diverse educational pathways available to the students today, alongwith the choices which lay ahead of them.

The delegation comprised of the following universities and colleges:-

Coastal Carolina University, Columbia College Chicago, Elon University, Kettering University, Michigan State University, Ohio University, Savannah College of Art and Design, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, University of California, Riverside, University of California, Santa Barbara, University of Colorado, Boulder, University of Michigan-Flint, University of Missouri, University of Oklahoma, University of Tulsa.

It was indeed and enriching experience for all those present. The students also directly interacted with the admissions representatives and clarified their doubts. The session was very informative, and enabled the students to understand the options available to them after completing Class 12.
