Oorja Akshara sent an entry to a competition in Suresh Wadeker’s Academy Ajivasan in Mumbai where an original song was to be submitted on the theme of Rakhsha Bandhan. Prof Rachana, Oorja’s mother wrote these simple and emotional lyrics and then Guru Shri Nand Lal Gandharv made the Dhun. The original Dhun was pure classical but some sad tune was needed for these lyrics. Finally, the tune was composed and Oorja sang with ukulele and it was submitted. Her song was selected to be recorded at their studio in Mumbai. Later the music was mixed with the voice by Ajivasan studio and it was released just 2 days before Rakshabandhan on youtube, Facebook, Spotify, apple music, gaana.com, Saavn, Wynkmusic.
