SHREYA VARDHAN
Shreya Vardhan secured admission to five Ivy League Universities – namely, Harvard (Early Action), Columbia, Cornell, Yale and Princeton, all with 90-100% scholarship. She has joined Harvard University in the Fall Session, 2013. 100% Scores in International Exams Shreya Vardhan of class XII-F, secured a full score of 2400/2400 in the SAT Reasoning Test, held on 28th January, 2012; she also secured full scores in the SAT Subject Tests: Physics – 800/800, Mathematics Level II – 800/800, Chemistry – 800/800, held on 5th May, 2012; and in the TOEFL she scored 120/120, held on 9th June, 2012. She also secured full marks in AP Physics – C Mechanics – 5/5; AP Calculus AB – 5/5; and AP Chemistry – 5/5. Shreya brought laurels to the school with her glorious performance in all spheres. AWARDS AND HONORS
National and State Level Awards One of the 20 students selected by the Times Scholars program on 3rd November, 2012 to receive a merit scholarship of Rs 5 lakh. The award was instituted by the leading newspaper of India, The Times of India, and the five-stage selection process involved a written test and interviews with eminent personalities from the field of education. Out of the 45,000 participants from across the country, the 20 winners were selected on the basis of both scholastic aptitude and a vision for the future. Aadhi Aabadi Women Achievers Award (September 2012) for exceptional academic and extracurricular achievements and contributions to society as a woman. NTSE Scholar: Clearing the three rounds of the National Talent Search Examination in 2009. SLTSE Award (State Level Talent Search Examination) : 1st rank in class 10.

Worked with differently-abled children

Developed a software to help autistic and other differently-abled children meet their learning requirements, which is being used by the Umeed Foundation, the Tamana Foundation Nai Disha School, The Tamana Auitistic Centre-School of Hope, and Action for Autism, New Delhi.

Worked as a volunteer at the Umeed Foundation, a school for autistic and other differently-abled children, since December, 2011.
