Inter-school Literary Festival at Convent of Jesus and Mary

Convent of Jesus and Mary celebrated ‘Zenith’ an inter-school literary festival on August 29. The chief guest was Dr Kiran Bedi. The theatre competition was for students of class XI. The students of Delhi Public School, R.K Puram outshone their opponents and won the best play as well as the prize for best actor. The play was a parody on ‘Romeo and Juliet’. It was extremely hilarious. The debate for class XII was held on the topic: ‘A strong Lokpal Bill : the answer to corruption’ where the students of DPS R.K.Puram picked up the 2nd best speaker award. Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram got the Sushma Seth rolling trophy as well.
