The Astronomy Club of DPS R K Puram in association with SPACE organisation organised an overnight observation camp on 11 May 2018 to Astroport, Sariska, Rajasthan. Astroport is India’s first Astronomy theme based resort which has been developed to provide a great sky viewing and research experience to budding astronomers working with SPACE organisation in the serene and lush environment of Sariska Tiger Reserve, located near the Tiger Reserve.
A total of 145 members of Astronomy Club of Class VII were taken to Sariska by a group of 12 teachers on 11 May, 2018 and came back on 12 May, 2018.
