As per the DOE circular, an Earthquake Mock Drill was conducted for the whole school on 27 November 2018 . Ms. Rupa Das coordinated the drill under the guidance of the Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal, and the Vice Principal, Ms. Padma Srinivasan, who is also the Chief Coordinator of DM.
The entire school, all the students and the staff (both teaching and non- teaching), participated in the drill. As per the order, the hooter rang at 11 am. It took around 5 minutes for the entire school to evacuate as per the colour coded path and assemble in the football field. All the members of the different teams took charge and helped in the evacuation process along with their Incharges. Evacuation drills are always helpful in rectifying the shortcomings and improving the plan.
