On 16 November,2018 a Biotechnology Company, Codon Biotech, organised a demo for the Biotechnology students of Classes XI and XII in the Senior Biology Lab. Dr Tripti Bhatnagar and Dr Rosy explained the principle and protocol of the experiments. Students learnt to isolate plasmid from the bacteria E.Coli. They also cut the Genomic DNA using Restriction Enzymes, made Agarose gel and performed Electrophoresis. Students learnt how to use Spectrophotometer and estimated protein quantitatively. Ms Niva Chhonkar, HOD Biology, thanked Codon Biotech for arranging this amazing learning experience.
