Class VI (2019-20) arrived at Delhi Public School R.K. Puram on 2 April 2019 (Sections A to F) and 3 April 2019 (Sections G to K).
The Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal, began the day by the morning prayer with the new students and welcomed them to the senior branch of the school. The Headmistress, Ms. Rashmi Malhotra, spoke about the school rules and the code of conduct. The Class Reps, Ms. Pratibha and Ms. Payal also addressed the students and introduced the class teachers.
The students were taken to their respective classrooms, where the class teachers distributed personalized bookmarks and chocolates. They were also taken on a school tour before being escorted to their buses by student volunteers.
