Class VI (batch of 2018-19) arrived at Delhi Public School R.K. Puram on 3 April 2018 (Sections A to F) and 4 April 2018 (Sections G to K). Students of class VII welcomed the new students to the senior branch. The Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal, warmly welcomed the students and familiarised them with the school system. The Headmistress, Ms. Rashmi Malhotra, spoke to the students about the school rules and the code of conduct. The Class Representatives, Ms. Pratibha and Ms. Payal also addressed the students. The Class teachers introduced themselves to the students. The students were taken to their classrooms, where the Class teachers distributed personalized bookmarks and chocolates to all students. The students were taken on a school tour. At the end of the day, student volunteers from classes VII and VIII escorted the students to their respective buses.
