DPS R.K.Puram organized a cleanliness and Plantation drive outside school campus in the bus parking area. The drive was initiated by Dr. D.R. Saini, Principal, DPSR.K.Puram; Mrs.ShobhaMehta, Vice Principal; Ms. VanitaSehgal, Headmistress (Classes VIII-X); Mr.S.K.Arora, Head of the Biology Department; Mrs. Niva Chhonkar and Ms. Kusum Yadav, Environment Club Teachers, along with Class XI and XII Environment Club members, actively participated in the plantation drive.
After Ozone level testing it indicated that the parking area has higher Ozone level and trees help in reducing it so Aurocaria trees were planted on the road divider outside school after cleaning the surrounding area. Bougainvillaea was planted alongside the road leading to the Boys Hostel on 21st October 2014.
