In the time of globalization, when there are varieties of career options available , students often get lost in those options. To facilitate the process of making the right choice, a career guidance programme was organized at DPS R. K. Puram for the students of class XII. The objective of the programme was to provide information regarding different colleges / universities available for respective courses, the cut-offs eligibility criteria etc.
The programme was scheduled in the following manner:
On 25th the session was for science students with biology option.
On 26th for science students with Maths, Economics and Legal studies option and
On 27th for commerce and humanities students.
The session was conducted by Mr Ankit Kapoor, Director and Mr.Anubhav Rakheja, General Manager of Pratham Institute and by Mr.Ankit Ojha. They focussed on various changes that have occurred in the medical entrances as well in Delhi University. They also discussed the different options available for the students with respect to the options they have taken as well as some neutral courses i.e. the courses that can be pursued by any student irrespective of their streams. The presentation also provided with different cut-offs, number of seats as well as eligibility criteria for different colleges. A similar session was held for parents on all three days where individual doubts were resolved.
CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME HELD FOR CLASS 12 FROM 25- 27TH JULY 2016
