Topic: My Feelings Are Valid

Class X-J speaks up about the important social issues of mental illness, peer pressure and discrimination.

They believe that in today’s society people should be aware of these issues and know how to face them and help others do the same. They feel it is okay to be shy and have problems, but it is not okay to ignore others’ problems or to make fun of them. They display these issues through daily life situations and by presenting it in the form of skit, songs, dance and speeches.

Topic: Read the book or judge the cover

The assembly tells us about the problems of establishing preconceived notions about each other, among teens. The students highlighted the repercussions faced by adolescents, that came with ‘judging others’ through a skit, a dance, a speech and emphasised on the need to put an end to them.
