TOPIC: The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
The quotation encapsulates the idea of mustering courage, will power and determination to take the first step with qualities of perseverance, endurance and fortitude. It highlights the significance of that first move to accomplish the goal.
It is often said, human beings embark on their different journeys to create their own milestones. The journey is largely defined by the first step that they take. There could be hurdles and challenges but the strength lies in overcoming them. It is rightly said “Never give in to the obstacles that lie in your path towards the achievement of your dreams”.
As quoted, the greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it. The students expressed their ideas by presenting a skit portraying stories of heroic figures like Helen Keller, Arunima Sinha and Charlie Chaplin who took the first step despite all adversities. The creative concoction comprised of western choir, dance, self –composed poem and speeches.
