Topic: Philosophy of Life
The assembly was a dedication to our student Late Kushi Chopra. The presentation put forward different views on life and death, moksha, karma and afterlife. The assembly began with prayer lead by the Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal. The presentation included ‘Shiv Vandana’, news, speeches and thought for the day. The skit included the lecture given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield of Mahabharata, next came the teachings of Lord Buddha to his followers all dressed as monks. The assembly concluded with the ‘Tandav’ dance with the ‘Mahamritunjay Mantra’ at the end. All the children of the class contributed to the presentation befitting their talent. The students of the class also presented a token of love to Kushi Chopra’s mother in the form of a photo collage and written poetry and messages.

VIII-K tries to convey the message that the real heroes of our country are our army men. Kargil Divas is celebrated every year on 26 July .Through this assembly the students gave tribute to the Army.
