India is a country consisting mainly of villages. More than 70% of the population resides in villages. Indian farmers are still living in miserable conditions. Living in an urban civilisation, it is the goal of our assembly to make the students aware about the conditions of the farmers and their needs. We have to make everyone more empathetic towards the farmers. India will develop only when the peasant’s progress is ascertained. We need the assistance from the government too. Modern techniques should also be brought to the fore.

The empowerment of girls and women starts on the benches of school with quality education and access to culture and information. Gender equality implies literacy for girls which opens up genuine possibilities for them to become anything they wish for and to make their own informed choices. This is essential for Human Rights and for the sustainable development of the society as a whole. The assembly raised the issue of gender equality and the adversities faced by girls, with an aim to increase awareness amongst them so that they can achieve success in society.
