Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram, under the guidance of the Principal, Dr.D.R.Saini, celebrated the 67th Independence Day with a lot of enthusiasm. The Hindi, Social Studies and the Art department organised different activities which filled the students and teachers with the feeling of patriotism. Students of class 10 recited self composed poems in a ‘kavi sammelan’. Class 9 students sang various patriotic songs. The students of grade 11 presented a nukkad natak, The social studies department organised a quiz and debate on the national movement. Children made pictures and collage on the national movement and the watched two movies- ‘Garam hawa’ and ‘The legend of Bhagat Singh’.
