With the advent of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alayhe Wasallam, beams of brightness stretched across the world. To eliminate the gloom of darkness and ignorance, the Prophet came to this world. He brought with him the treasure of faith and goodwill.

The class presentation of X-B epitomizes the significance of “Milad-un-nabi” as an important part of the Islam culture. The presentation commenced with a melodious prayer by Tanvi Chopra, followed by a thought-provoking quote by Divya Agarwal. After that, Chahak threw light on Prophet Muhammad’s life and his ideals by a beautiful speech. To enthrall the morning, a skit was performed by Aadit Jha, Manan Garg, Madhav Dogra and Chahak. The budding poets of our class, Divya Agarwal and Armaan Jagirdar shared their views on the Prophet’s ideals through a poem. The thought for the day was then presented by Armaan Jagirdar. Chahak prepared the elegant e-invites and the technical support was taken care of by Madhav Dogra. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Manan Garg.

Topic- The End is Where We Start From

The blurred dichotomy between endings and beginnings underscored the class presentation: their finality and ubiquity defies definition. The class ruminated on what they mean to them and others amidst celebrations of the birthday of Islamic Prophet Muhammad. 

The class presentation commenced with a lovely shloka promising auspiciousness and health sung by Apoorva Agrawal and translated by Tarini Kapooor. The compères, Dhruv Agarwal  and Aryaman Aggarwal, greeted the audience with an introduction to the topic. A soulful prayer, “All things bright and beautiful”, was sung beautifully by Fatima Kashtwari, followed by Ananya Jain’s narration of the thought for the day. Shivali Huria articulated the topic with a reflective speech on  “the end is the beginning”, heralding a poem written and recited by Deboleena Das. A recounting of the history and tale of Eid-e-Milad was presented in a very effective manner by Shivali. The Presentation concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Pragati Priya Lal. The invitation and compilation of all the audios was taken care of by Pragati. The overall organisation of the class presentation was done by Sukriti Chawla and Tarini Kapoor.

Virtual Guest Speaker Program : Classes VI- VII

A Guest Speaker Programme was organised on 29th October 2020 for the students of Classes VI – VII. The Guest Speaker, Ms. Shriya Maini,  Advocate on Record in the Supreme Court of India spoke on the topic “Child Rights and POCSO”. She talked about the fundamental rights of a child and protection of children from abuse and exploitation under POCSO law. The guest speaker interacted with students and addressed their queries. The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by the Headmistress, Ms.Niva Chhonkar who suggested that it is important to identify and report the ‘unsafe’ situations  immediately she expressed her appreciation for the interesting session conducted by the speaker. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Shaloo Khanna, Ms Sapna Sharma and Ms. Vaishali Tiwari.

Topic- United Nations Day – Alone we can do so Little; Together we can do so Much

The theme for the class presentation was celebrating the United Nations Day. Established on 24 October 1945, the United Nations is a symbol of international peace and harmony.

The presentation began with a welcome note by Soumya Bansal. The opening address by Vaibhav S Mehra was followed by a morning prayer sung by Faina Bhandari and a beautiful quote by Prabir Singh Nagpal. Lomash Sharma and Aadi Ahuja shared the thought for the day while Priyang Mohan Lal recited a melodious shlok which was translated in depth by Yusra Husain. Following this, Ananya Asthana and Ranhvir Singh Sahi spoke about the relevance of the United Nations. Next was a meaningful self composed poem recited by Samiya Bhatia and Meeth TM Jaswani. A song by Aarushi Kapur and Rajdeep Agarwal was followed by Aaditya Gaur’s speech and the vote of thanks by Soumya Bansal.  

The e-invite was prepared by Myra Sahunja, the presentation was prepared by Jayaditya Monga and Shivansh Hemal, while the audio was edited and compiled by Ritwik Sethi.

Topic-A Smooth Sea never made a Skilled Sailor

Franklin.D.Roosevelt’s famous quote- “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor” seems fitting for the difficult situation we are facing nowadays but one must remember that hardships forces us to push ourselves and step out of our comfort zones. We realize our potential and grow through our experiences. The storm of difficult times takes over and we are close to drowning,we keep maneuvering through the turbulence and make it to the shore, injured but not broken, proud but not vain. After all, anything that doesn’t kill us, only makes us stronger.

The presentation commenced with a soulful Vedic hymn by Riya Mukherjee, followed by a befitting introduction by Radhika Gupta and then a melodious song  by Riya Mukherjee again. A Thought provoking quote was shared by Divyam Jindal, followed by a magnificent speech by Bhuvi Saluja, then  a meaningful poem recited by Shreya Mittal, Tejas Vaid and Lavanya Anthwal. A short speech in hindi on the auspicious festival of Dussehra was vocalized by Subham Goyel and in conclusion the vote of thanks  was rendered by Radhika Gupta. Creativity was shown by Priyal Bothra through the colorful and pleasing slides and e-invites. The editing of the complete presentation and weaving of all the audios was the work of Simran Kumar.

Topic- हमारा देश हमारे त्योहार

Celebrating the ongoing festive season, the class shared their views with others about the values of हमारा देश-हमारे त्योहार through their delightful presentation. They gave the idea that this festive season, we all should work on improving ourselves and creating a better and happier world for all.

The presentation began with an introductory speech by Dev and Dhiriti, followed by a kickstart to the festive season through a melodious note in the form of a prayer by Yashvi Gairola . Next, thought for the day was spoken by Abe Mehra,Nipun Kumar,Vidhi Mehta and Manvi after which Gurtej Singh,Naina and Prithvi Aggarwal presented a meaningful Skit, bringing the joy of the festivals to life. The presentation was concluded by Dhriti and Dev delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the presentation to a close. The e-invite and slides were the creation of Vidhi Mehta and Manya . Topic- Goodness is the Armour to Evil

Life is a journey where one comes across good and evil everyday. A man can achieve greatness only by goodness. Evil can only be defeated by goodness of thoughts and deeds.

The presentation started with the recitation of a soulful Sanskrit shlok by Divyansha followed by a divine prayer beautifully sung by Ameena. Thereafter, Tanmay welcomed everyone . The speech on the importance of goodness over evil  was spoken by Kashish Tandon followed by the thought for the day by Medha. The continuous battle of good and evil was very artistically presented on tabla by Aviral followed by recitation to a self composed poem by Heena. The vote of Thanks was proposed by Tript. The presentation was beautifully put together by Jayant and Divyanshi whereas the e invite was created by Malvika.

Topic- AMASO MAA JYOTIR GAMAYA

The class presentation was based on the theme- TAMASO MA JYOTIR GAMAYA. This means the journey of an individual from darkness to light. Since it was the  celebration of  Durga Puja, where the essence of power within a woman is worshipped, the theme of the presentation beautifully epitomises it.

The presentation started with the soulful shabbat prayer by Hargun Singh which was followed by a meaningful thought recited by Dhwani. After this, a sanskrit hymn was sung by Laavya Malhotra. Then Madhurr Dhingra introduced the topic which was further taken up by a series of monologues where the characters- an egoistic male chauvinist, a female and a good samaritan brought the essence of the theme. It brought the inner strength, malice, beauty and  power of one’s thoughts. It was guided by the narrator- Abhaya Trivedi. Then, a melodious English song was sung by Ishita Singh.The presentation concluded with the vote of thanks spoken by Khushi Mishra. The entire audio presentation was compiled by the technical support of Aryan Goel and Tanmay Arora. The creative and colourful e- Invitation was made by Somya Srivastava and Gianna Bahl.

Topic- CONTENTMENT IS AN INEXHAUSTIBLE TREASURE

On the event of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the class presentation was based on Prophet Mohammad’s quote, “Contentment is an Inexhaustible Treasure.” During the presentation the class explored contentment, hope, piety, universal brotherhood and the significance of fostering solidarity and patience between one another, as taught by Islam.

The presentation commenced with an introduction by Amritansh Srivastava, followed by a Saraswati Vandana and its meaning by Ruhee Arora and Akash Barua respectively. Later, a short speech on Prophet Muhammad was given by Ahana Bhattacharya, and Prakhar Rai recited Muhammad Iqbal’s famous verse, “Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua.” Khushi Kumari spoke a very meaningful Thought of the Day, and Anjali Priyadarshi followed with a poem on religious harmony. The presentation concluded with a melodious song, “Arziyan” by Kunsang Khampa and vote of thanks by Manasvi Pradhan. The e-invite and the presentation was prepared by Divyam Prusty and Sneha Chandra while the audio was compiled and edited by Divyam Prusty.

Topic- Keep your face towards sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you

Some hope, happiness and a little positivity are enough to add sparkles to your life. Our topic,’’ Keep Your Face Towards The Sunshine And The Shadows Will Fall Behind You’’ emphasises on always looking at the brighter side of every situation and moving forward with a positive attitude .

The class presentation began with a beautiful shlok sung by Tarini Makkar and explanation by Dhwani Goyal, followed by an introduction by Vartika Verma. The morning prayer “Teri Hai Zameen Tera Aasmaan” was sung by Tarini Makkar with Hemang Duggal and a thought provoking quote was spoken by Anshita Agarwal. This was followed by a speech by Tanvi Verma which went along the lines of how a positive thinker does not let their negative thoughts control them. Further a few lines by Sugandh Gupta talking about the festival of Navratri and its positive impact in our lives. An  engaging story shared by Dhwani Goyal gave the message of optimism. To brighten the morning, we had an enthralling self composed song written by Daksh Sharma, sung by Hemang Duggal and Tarini Makkar. The budding poets of our class, Mugdha Singh and Aadya Kedia had written and recited motivational self composed poems in English and Hindi respectively. The presentation concluded with a vote of thanks by Vartika Verma.  The technical aspects were taken care of by Daksh Sharma and Anshita Agarwal.

Topic- Good always Triumphs over Evil

Filled with diverse cultures and varied religions, India is witness to a number of festivals, with festive spirit deeply imprinted in people’s hearts and souls.Having th festivity in mind class 6J has presented their yearly class presentation on “Good always triumphs over Evil”

To spread the joy and happiness in this festivity among all of us, the class presentation was started with the Hymn, beautifully sung by Annirudh Dua, followed by soulful prayer by T. Manasa. 

After this Divyansh Jain welcomed and introduced everyone with the topic and Kabir Sahni presented the values of festivals, that is Durgan Ashtami. While on the other hand Raghuvir Prakash presented a beautiful story. Later, the thought for the day was presented by Annirudh  Dua and Tisya. 

Towards the end of the presentation vote of thanks was given by Divyansh Jai. The beautiful e invite was made by Adhiraj Batra and the whole Presentation was compiled and woven perfectly by Pratham Bhalla.
