Topic-  Desh Bhakti- Ek Tapasya,Ek Janoon

The class presented an enthralling class presentation on 30 July 2020.  Paying tribute to the great freedom fighter Shaheed Uddham Singh, the presentation was titled “Desh Bhakti- Ek Tapasya,Ek Janoon”. Starting with the cheerful voice of Trisha Rana the topic was introduced  to the audience and explained the true meaning of patriotism. Following her, Kshirja Rastogi mesmerized everyone with her melodious voice when she sang the prayer, ‘Vaishnava Janato’. Remembering great patriots like Mahatma Gandhi, Chandra Shekhar Azad , Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai,

Uddham Singh etc, Adyan Yusoof and Hriday Poddar presented beautiful thoughts which filled our hearts with patriotic spirit. Shaheed Uddham Singh was a patriot who laid down his life for the sake of his country and actually became immortal. Remembering him on this day, Rishav Mukerjee recited a self-composed poem honoring him. At the end Sanjana explained how patriotism doesn’t always mean to sacrifice our lives but it means to live for our country.She concluded the class presentation by suggesting a few ways by which students could showcase patriotism in their daily lives.

Class Presentation X-A (29-07-2020)

Topic- UDDHAM SINGH  [ WATAN PAR MITNE WALON KA YAHI BAAKI NISHAN HOGA]

It is the cause not the death that makes the martyr. The students of X A were privileged to conduct the class presentation on the topic Shahid Udham Singh with the subtitle-” watan par mitne walon ka yahi baaki nishan hoga”. Shaheed Udham Singh had assassinated General O Dyer in London who was responsible for the Jallianwala massacre in Amritsar in 1919. The motto of the Presentation was to invoke the spirit of patriotism amongst the students.we also aimed to inspire them with the great heroes of our nation who sacrificed their lives to attain freedom of the country and to keep the people safe. The class tried their best to spread motivation amongst students through prayer by Hunar Arora followed by thought for the day by Tahir Abbas and Vedansh Gupta. The idea was reinforced further by  a mesmerising song by Divyakshi Adhikari  and a self composed poem by Shrey Bothra. The speech was delivered by Divyansh Verma. Quoting some thought provoking words, Tanishq Agarwal concluded the Presentation and thanked all those involved in making this event possible.

Class Presentation VII-I (28-07-2020)

Topic- Gratitude is Riches

Gratitude promotes optimism and helps us to develop a more positive outlook. This very idea was presented by VII-I in a beautiful manner. Tejas Upadhyay recited a melodious prayer ‘O palan hare” and Charwi Rawat conveyed the thought that we all should pause for a moment to reflect on something we have in our life right now instead of always striving for more. Even in the midst of crisis and change there are lessons to learn and things to be grateful for. after this a moving speech was followed by Viraj where he spoke about the keyto be grateful is with the first exercise and that is to express genuine gratitude and appreciation for specific things you already have in your life and not to think like a victim who ‘deserves’ more or who wishes they had more of something.Veda Dua  and Agrita Trivedi concluded the Class Presentation with a self composed poem.

Topic- SARDAR UDHAM SINGH (MARTYRDOM DAY)

 Patriotism is a passionate sentiment .Nurturing and inculcating this virtue is of prime significance among children.Through the inspiring story of Sardar  Udham Singh ,the class  tried  to portray and present his act of valour via this class presentation. It was showcased that one should always be prepared for making the ultimate sacrifice and strive for upholding the ideals and ethos of our nation .Class VIII-G embarked on this journey by presenting a morning prayer sung by Shery Chauhan followed by the thought for the day by Advika Harisukh. In continuation to this process,Sahibnoor Kaur presented an inspiring speech on Sardar Udham Singh. Manan Agrawal and Ishan Rathi followed this up with a small skit and Vyeshant  Aditya enacted the role of  Udham Singh. In addition to this Kartavya Panda recited a heart warming hindi poem based on this topic.

Tanishq welcomed everybody and introduced the topic for the presentation and led us to the morning prayer. In her melodious voice, Shanchari sang the morning prayer; “O Palanhare”.Naman and Srishti presented the thought for the day explaining the importance of hardships in one’s life, to help us emerge stronger than before. Abhisar recited a mesmerising self-composed poem, on how to believe in self and not be influenced by others and not to lose hope even in adverse situations. Tanaya enlightened us with her speech on the topic. The message conveyed by her was that strong people don’t give up struggling with ups and downs of life and carve a niche for themselves and set an example for others. Manasi explained that one is defined by his strength and courage and not by weaknesses. She thanked everyone on behalf of class XI C for being a part of morning presentation. The message conveyed by the assembly was that strong people are always fighting battles of their own to emerge stronger and they don’t complain about the hardships they face.

Nature in her green, tranquil woods heals and soothes all afflictions. In all things of Nature there is something of the marvelous. It is this thought that encouraged the students of class VII H to go steady and perform well in their virtual class presentation. The topic of the class presentation was ‘Hariyali Teej: Bliss in the Lap of Nature’. The students wonderfully manifested this notion by incorporating these ideas in their morning prayer, thoughts for the day, poem, and short story. The thoughts for the day beautifully rendered the idea that women are the creators of life, the bearers of the cup of knowledge and wisdom, personifying the moral and spiritual authority of this fertile green and blue Earth. The thought for the day, poem and the short story also enunciated that meeting Nature face to face for some time while seeing its beauty unburdens us from our humdrum existence.

The Class Presentation was on the topic of Cultural Diversity.The students talked about different forms of diversity which make us feel as a proud Indian citizen.India’s culture is among the world’s oldest culture which receives worldwide respect today.Class presentation focused on making cultural differences as our strength.Cultural diversity inspires creativity,innovation and the spirit of fraternity. 

Siddhart gave an energetic introduction where he talked about different forms of diversity like languages, religions, dance,music etc which is the real beauty of our country.It was followed  by Sumaiyah’s melodious prayer. Abhyuday beautifully encouraged people to integrate differences in his thought for the day.Aishanya’s self composed poem ignited the spirit of unity in diversity. The vote of thanks was presented by Samaira.

Rainbow! A splendid sight which gives us hope, positivity and a lot of happiness. It brings peace in dark days of unrest, it brings creativity in days of gloom and it brings optimism in pessimistic situations.

On this positive theme students of class VI A presented their Class Presentation. Starting with her cheerful voice Vanya introduced the topic to the audience. Following Vanya, Diya mesmerised everyone with her melodious voice when she sang the prayer, ‘Itni Shakti Humein De Na Daata’.On the theme ‘There is always a Rainbow after Rain’ Avani presented a beautiful thought of the day. The most inspiring part of the Presentation was the story shared by the students. Kamya and Rudraksh told the story of Hima Das, the young athlete, who made India proud in July 2019 when she won 5 Gold in different competitions. With few line on power of positivity Aairah concluded and thanked everyone for their presence.

The students of class VIII-A presented an enthralling class presentation on 20 July 2020. The theme of the presentation was based on a quote by Maya Angelou – “Nothing can dim the happiness which shines from within”. Our inner happiness, if real, is seldom affected by what is happening around us. If there is light within us, no matter how dark it is, we will find our way. To begin the presentation, Prarthana sang a melodious prayer followed by the thought for the day spoken by Kanak and explained by Anant. The short story by Shrikirti set the tone for a cheerful day. It emphasized the importance of being happy with what we have rather than being sad about what we don’t. Finally, Ishita Bhalla spoke about the importance of Hariyaali Teej emphasizing how Teej is a celebration of nature’s happiness accentuated by the beautiful monsoon. The comperes Edha, Arisha and Ryaan helped the performers sail through the presentation.

The class took the topic on Bonalu, a Dravidian traditional Hindu festival centred on the Goddess Mahakali. This festival is celebrated annually in Telangana during July and August. Special poojas are performed as thanksgiving to the Goddess for the fulfilment of her vows. The people feast heartily and pray to the  Goddess to protect their loved ones from all misfortunes and bless them with good health. This idea was presented by the students to highlight the importance of gratitude and to encourage all  to inculcate this core value into their everyday life.A soulful prayer was sung by Keerthana accompanied by Divit on piano. This was followed by thought for the day by Shireen Sengupta and a very mesmerising poem by Tishan Choudhary.The Presentation concluded with an emphatic speech by srinithya. The thought left a lot to delve into as it said that we should be thankful for what one has and reflect upon our blessings,of which every man has plenty;  not on our misfortunes, of which all men have some.
