‘Kisan Diwas’ is observed every year on 23 December to celebrate the birth anniversary of the fifth prime minister and kisan leader, Late Chaudhary Charan Singh. On this day, we pay homage to the brave leaders of the past who worked for the welfare and growth of farmers. This particular theme emphasizes on the fact that farmers do not just produce for themselves and their families but also for our country and the world. Class VI-J presented their assembly on the theme of ‘Kisan Diwas’.
