The Indian Constitution was adopted by the members of the Constituent Assembly on 26th November, 1949.
To commemorate the Constitution Day of India, the Youth Parliament Club of DPS R. K. Puram organized a presentation and display of the Constitutions made by the students of their class containing their preamble, rules and regulations, code of conduct, their rights and duties towards their class, school, and environment, etc.
The Indian Constitution, which is the supreme law containing those principles and structures on the basis of which our country is organized, was also put on display for the students and teachers to see.
In order to spread awareness about the constitution among the students, the Preamble to the Indian Constitution, the eleven Fundamental Duties, Rights of an Indian citizen and the reasonable restrictions on them were displayed on the Soft Board.
The Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal, read out the Preamble to the Indian Constitution as well as the eleven Fundamental Duties enshrined in Article 51 (A) .
A Constitution Day Quiz was also organized for the students of Classes VI – XII in two categories. Students participated in large numbers in the event.

Third position – Somesh Kar, VIII – G and Tuswin Sahni, VIII – A
Category 2 – Classes 9-12:
First position – Isha Goel, XII – W
Second position – Pallav Srivastava, XI – X
Third position – Yashwant Singh Yadav, XI – V
