​The assembly was about seeing life through another perspective. Everyone has a different perspective about life. One can only see the other side of the story by looking through a different set of eyes. If one changes the way one looks at things the things one looks at also change. One should always see a half empty glass as a glass which is half full to live life to the fullest.​

“Seedhi Sachi Baten” are those teachings which help in character development of a student. Hard work, politeness, truthfulness, lack of “ahenkar” are qualities that are important in a student. Sant Kabir’s Dohas were the backbone of this assembly, where students acted on some excerpts of Kabir Vani and also presented a dance on “Moko Kahan Dhoonde re Bande”. A conversation between a student who had picked up on the incorrect ideals of modern life and a likeliness of Sant Kabir had also been portrayed, where Sant Kabir sets his train of thought on the right track.

Today’s morning assembly was based on the theme ‘following dreams’ where the class talked about Martin Luther King’s ideals of ” I Have A Dream” . IX D showed how dreams are important for having a goal in life otherwise a person who doesn’t dream big can’t reach his destination and fulfill his goals. Children also talked about the importance of having a dream .

This assembly showcased how each one of us can contribute something towards making a difference in the society and how each one of us is important in the lives of everyone.​ The students depicted it beautifully through a skit, songs and dances.

The class has chosen the topic ‘Epiphany’ as it means sudden realization. The students had indeed put in their efforts to present it. As according to them realization plays an important role in one’s life and if any message conveyed in a polite manner always leaves a deep impact on one’s life. Its was an effort to depict the importance of taking the right step at the appropriate time. The topic was depicted through a skit comprised of three small scenes in order to convey the message to the audience.

Class ​VIII-F ​had its assembly on the topic ‘I have a dream….’ in which they pertinently put across to the audience that the future belongs to those who believe in the significance of their dreams. Through their speeches, songs and skit, the students brought alive on the stage, the famous words of APJ Abdul Kalam ‘Dream lofty dreams because dreams lead to thought and thoughts lead to action.’​

The topic for the assembly was“A New Beginning”.This was the first assembly of class 6 in this academic year 2015-16, for the children who have come from the two junior schools, DPS Vasant Vihar and DPS East of Kailash. The children were very enthusiastic to work for the class assembly.

The assembly commenced with the Ganesh vandana, followed by thought for the day,poem,speech,song ,band and finally the dance performance.

There was hundred percent participation of the children of the class 6A.



Assembly XII-D 30-04-20125

Topic: Life is bigger than E=MC2

Life is about doing things that make you happy, not the things required to please others. The students of class 12-D, through this assembly, expressed their belief in living your life to the fullest. Through the dance, they showed a fusion of color, music and moves to illustrate that this kind of freedom is essential to ensure a happy and peaceful life. The dialogue, thought and speech expressed their views about the importance of following one’s dreams. The poem and the skit were designed to show how the state of one’s life can be improved if you follow your heart and free yourself from the shackles of society.
