GOLF ACHIEVEMENTS OF RIDHIMA DILAWARI, A STUDENT OF XII

  • Presently ranked number 1 Junior at All India level
  • Presently ranked number 2 Amateur at All India level
  • Part of the Indian National Squad for the past 4 years
  • Represented India in 15 International Junior/ Amateur tournaments including Youth Asian Games, World Junior Championship, Faldo Seri1es Asian Grand Final, Asia Pacific Ladies Open, Thailand Ladies Championship, South American Ladies Championship and Asia Pacific Junior Open.
  • Qualified to represent India at the 37th Queen Sirikit Cup (Asia Pacific Ladies Championship) being held in Hong Kong in May this year.
  • Played 60 junior/amateur National tournaments with numerous wins.
  • Winner of the team trophy at the Asia Pacific Junior/Amateur Open (5TH-8TH Dec, 2013)
  • Shot a round of 65 (7 under) to hold the ladies course record of Kalhaar Golf Course which is also the lowest score ever played by a junior girl on the Indian tour.
  • Winner of the Amateur and Junior trophy in the IGU Navratna Ahmedabad Ladies/Junior girls Golf Championship (13th-16th October 2014)
  • Winner of the Junior’s trophy and 1st runner-up in Amateur at the Northern India Ladies /Junior Championship (5TH– 8TH May, 2014)
  • Winner of the Junior’s trophy and 1st runner-up in Amateur at the Army Ladies/Junior Championship (29TH April-2ND May, 2014)
  • Runners up for the Junior’s trophy at the All India Junior Championship (16TH-19TH Dec, 2014)
  • Previously ranked no.1 in under 13 girls (2010) and under 10 girls (2008) at All India level.


7TH ASIAN BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Aarushi Chadha, aged 17, a student of class XI-T of Delhi Public School R.K. Puram participated in the 7th Asian Basketball Championship held in March 2015 in Thailand.

She, along with her teammates, represented Delhi and secured the First Position by defeating 28 other states in the 61st U-19 National School Games held in January 2015 in Delhi.

Membership forms are available with the security guards at the school Main Gate and Boys Hostel main gate or can be downloaded from the school website www.dpsrkp.net. Forms duly completed along with prescribed fee (only by cheque) will have to be deposited to the cashier.

Note:

  1. One smart Security Guard, who knows swimming also will be on duty shift-wise from 6.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. at the swimming pool. He must be vigilant to face any unwarranted incidence/ accident that might occur with any swimmer, and he will also ensure that no unauthorized person is present there.
  2. The swimming pools will be functional on all 7 days of the week except gazetted holidays.
  3. Swimming coach and lifeguard (Male & Female) will be on duty as per requirement of swimming pools.
