IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SELECTED APPLICANTS


DOWNLOAD Enrollment Form | Medical Certificate | Undertaking and submit all the forms duly filled and completed in all respect alongwith the following:

  • Kindly get your ward along for medical checkup.

  • A Pay Order / Banker’s Cheque of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty  Thousand only) in favour of of the respective junior schools i.e. DPS Vasant Vihar/ DPS East of Kailash payable at New Delhi. This amount will be adjusted against the fee for the academic session 2014-2015.  The balance amount will be paid in equal installments according to the fee bill, which will be issued, in due course of time. 

  • Two passport size photographs each of the child and both the parents.

  • Original Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation.

  • Proof of residence (a copy of the Passport / Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Unique Identification Card / Electoral Card / Ration Card issued in the name of parents – (mother / father having name of the child).  Originals to be produced for verification.

  • In case of Sibling, fee bill issued by the school office for the academic session 2013-14.

  • In case of Alumni, a copy of the passing certificate of AISSCE (Class XII) issued by CBSE.
  • Dates for completion of Admission Formalities for first list at DPS R K Puram, Sector-XII, New Delhi.

Dear Applicants,

It has been observed that some of the applicants have taken additional points for NEIGHBOURHOOD LOCALITY is not correct. All lists uploaded on the website up till now are as per such information provided by applicants online. However, school is trying to verify the same in the best possible way to remove the undesired points or cancel the applications having any errors presently.

Applicants, whose names are listed under consideration or under waitlist and have been called for checking and verification of documents are hereby informed that their appication shall be disqualified in case of non-reporting/providing insufficient/incomplete/incorrect information/documents.

In case, any applicant tries to forge the documents or provides wrong information to school during the verification process, school not only reserves the right to cancel the application at any point of time (even after confirmed admission) but also will take penal action against the individuals under the relevant provisions of law.

3.       REGISTRATION

Registration of General Category will be completely On-line on school website www.dpsrkp.net
Submission of duplicate registration for the same branch will automatically amount to cancellation of any one of the registration of the applicant.

Registration is free. No DD/Cheque is required.

4.      NEIGHBOURHOOD CONSIDERATION

You can apply for both the junior schools if your residence area lies within 8 km of the school. Please click on the AREA MAP for reference. However, please note that the school transport will only be provided on available  routes. The school does not guarantee or commit to provide transport facility on non-existing routes.

5.      ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies listed below as and when required by the school.

  • ADMISSION IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION OF THE DOCUMENTS LISTED ABOVE AND SUBMISSION OF A LETTER OF UNDERTAKING WHICH WILL BE SELF ATTESTED BY BOTH THE PARENTS IN FRONT OF THE VERIFICATION TEAM AND CLEARLY CERTIFIES THAT THE INFORMATION GIVEN IS CORRECT & THE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED ARE TRUE COPIES OF THE ORIGINAL. ALSO, GIVE AN UNDERTAKING OF THE ACCEPTANCE THAT THEY WILL CONSIDER THE DECISION OF THE SCHOOL FOR CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION AS FINAL & BINDING IF AT ANY GIVEN TIME & POINT, THE INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED ARE FOUND TO BE WRONG / FAKE / UNTRUE.

6.      STEPS INVOLVED IN THE ADMISSION PROCESS:

The final complete list of all the applicants with their value points will be displayed on the school website on Thursday, 6th February 2014.
The list of all the GIRL CHILD applicants will also be put up.

Draw of lots for 5% reserved quota for Girl Child The applications of all the girl child applicants (from area within 8 KM) will be separated out for draw of lots for 5% reserved seats for Girl Child. On Friday, 7th February 2014, draw of lots will be conducted at the assigned time & place in full public view for selecting 11 girls for DPS Vasant Vihar & 9 girls for DPS East of Kailash under the reserved quota.

The ‘UNDER CONSIDERATION LIST FOR GIRL CHILD’ under 5% reserved quota along with the ‘WAITLISTED GIRL CHILD LIST’ will be put up on Saturday, 8th February 2014. Please note, waitlisted girl child applicants will be considered in the ‘GENERAL POOL LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ if they have the same value points as other applicants in the tie. Otherwise, in case of any vacancy emerging under the girl child quota, the waitlisted girl child applicants will move up in the order of the numerical position in the list.
Please note:

  1. If a waitlisted girl child gets selected in the General Pool draw of lots, her name will be automatically cancelled from the Waitlisted Girl Child List.

  2. If a girl child named “ABC” who is waitlisted at No. 1 in the draw of lots for Girl Child is also waitlisted at No. 50 in the General Pool, she will be considered for admission vis-a-vis a girl child named ”XYZ” waitlisted at No.1 in the General Pool. Please note that the numerical position will move up in the respective separate lists and are not interchangeable.

Procedure for GENERAL POOL (For Both Girls & Boys)
At first instance, the names of ‘UNDER CONSIDERATION’ cases who have higher value points / points above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants who are in a tie for remaining seats, will also be put up on Saturday, 8th February 2014. The ‘GENERAL POOL LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (applicants with same value points in a tie for draw of lots for remaining seats, inclusive of waitlisted girl child having same value points as other applicants in a tie) will also be put up.

The ‘GENERAL POOL DRAW OF LOTS’ will take place on Sunday, 9th February 2014, as per the assigned time and venue given below in ‘Important Schedule’. The draw will take place in full public view which will be random.

In case of Twins

  1. If one of the twins is already studying in the school, the applicant will be considered under sibling category.

  2. In case of draw of lots, each of the twin applicant's chit will be put in seperately. If one of the twin child gets selected through draw of lots, the second twin will get sibling points for consideration as per DOE guidelines.

The verification process of the documents will be held in the respective Junior Schools from Tuesday, 11th February 2014 to Tuesday, 25th February 2014 (Tuesday) for the under consideration cases (Girl Child and General Pool)  and N number of waitlisted applicants (Girl Child & General Pool) as per the requirement of the seats available. Please note, both parents have to be present to submit self-attested copies of documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of the verification team.

FIRST LIST - On Saturday, 8th March 2014, the First List of SELECTED CHILDREN & WAITLISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates and fee deposit.

SECOND LIST - After assessing the vacancies, the Second List of SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared on Thursday, 20th March, 2014. Please note, waitlisted children under ‘GIRL CHILD LIST’ & “GENERAL POOL LIST will move up as per their position. In case of any further vacancies, subsequent list(s) will be declared.
